Staying at Highstreet Guesthouse was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house itself is beautifully maintained with that perfect mix of charm and modern comfort—you can tell every detail has been thought through with care. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of character, making it hard to even want to leave. The location couldn’t be better—close enough to walk to all the best spots in town, but tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private. What truly sets Highstreet apart, though, is the hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful—Chad made sure I had every recommendation that I needed! Pet friendly accommodations, a town full of history and charm…if you’re looking for the perfect get away …do yourself a favor and a book a stay here!

We booked an almost last minute trip to Jim Thorpe and I didn’t have many accommodation options left then. We booked apartment E. After we arrived I realized how LUCKY we were to get such a cozy, comfortable, clean and well located place. It’s under 5 min walk to the heart of the town, yet it is quiet, and just lovely. The apartment is well maintained and very clean. Since it was a Xmas week, there was a decorated Xmas tree and seasonal decor, which was subtle and nice. Chad greeted us next morning with a big smile and stories about local life, he also recommended great hikes. We highly recommend the HighStreet Guesthouse as a perfect place to stay.

An amazing weekend getaway. The communication was excellent. Check in and out was super easy. Perfect location,no need to move the car, easy walk to all the town's activities, stores, restaurants and bars. The decor was a great mix of modern and retro. Apartment and surrounding property was immaculate and we'll cared for. Would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway. Hope to go back soon.

My girlfriend and I decided to take a last-minute trip out to Jim Thorpe (JT). Apparently, it’s very difficult to find a place to stay in Jim Thorpe in the autumn because it’s so beautiful during that time of year. I did find it challenging to find any vacancies, but we were lucky enough to get a reservation for Apartment D for one night. My girlfriend and I love taking little weekend trips to quaint towns, and where we stay is part of the experience for us — but the High Street Guesthouse was the experience. Yes, we enjoyed walking around JT, doing the tours, and visiting the little shops and eateries, but the room was, for us, the main attraction. We had a beautiful little balcony area all to ourselves with a charming garden and a chiminea that was wonderful to sit by on the cool autumn night under the stars. The whole aesthetic of this place is perfect for a quaint, romantic weekend getaway. The only downside, I would say, is how popular this place is — so you really have to plan your stay ahead of time. But take the time to plan a stay here; it’s absolutely worth it. Also, Chad and Jeffrey, the individuals who run it, are truly the best. I never met Jeffrey in person, but he honestly could not have been more accommodating with his emails explaining everything there was to do in JT. I did run into Chad, who was also extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you both for making our little getaway so wonderful.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, and it was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect—close enough to downtown that we could walk to everything. Having a designated parking spot was a huge plus. The apartment is well laid out, cozy, and feels just like home. We’ll definitely be staying again! We also had the privilege of meeting Chad—such a great guy.

We have stayed with High Street Guesthouse multiple times over the years and they never disappoint. Today we are in apt. F which is a one bedroom one full bath apt. It has a wonderful sitting room with a gas fireplace heater that makes to room very cozy. The bedroom is quiet and inviting with a loveseat and king sized bed. The bathroom has a huge jacuzzi tub and a separate standup shower. Lots of great features that make you feel at home and ties you to the local feel of the Poconos. We would recommend any of the High Street Guesthouse rooms. Jeff & Chad are awesome hosts.

We stayed in Apartment D and it was beautiful, clean, and cozy! Jeff made reservations easy, and Chad is the innkeeper with the mostest! Hospitality was WONDERFUL, and we will definitely be back! So glad we stumbled upon High Street Guesthouse!

Reserved apartment H as a surprise getaway for my wife and I for our anniversary and The High Street Guesthouse did not disappoint! The additional packages are also a great and well worth it! (I got the roses and rose petals as well as the charcuterie board and hard cider which was delicious and a hit with the wife!). The apartment was excellent and cozy and just the perfect walking distance from the downtown Jim Thorpe area making it accessible but also far enough away to be a quiet retreat. The hosts are easily accessible and very responsive as well. It is was all and all a great weekend escape and one which the wife and I have decided will become a tradition going forward. We look forward to staying at the High street Guesthouse again in the future!
